Diabolical Dame won a New Mexico Cup stakes for the third year in a row Sunday at Zia Park, rallying for a head victory over stablemates Tijuana and Bryn’s Fancy Pants in the $140,000 Distaff Sprint Championship. The three horses are trained by Todd Fincher.

Robison the filly races for trainer/owner Jaime Aldavaz.

Kicking off a stellar day for A&A Stallions, up first
was THAT'S THE IDEA, the 2yo daughter of first crop sire DIABOLICAL
showed that her 15-length allowance career debut was genuine when she went gate
to wire to win the 5 ½ furlong $193,730 guaranteed in her second career start.
Run over a sloppy sealed track in 1:03 4/5, THAT'S THE IDEA
engaged in a duel with Lady Genius, who was undefeated in her previous four
starts with two stakes wins. THAT'S THE IDEA put that one away on
her way to a 1 ¼ length score. Bred by her owners J Kirk & Judy Robison in
New Mexico the undefeated filly has earned $96,865 for her two career wins from
as many starts.

RAIDER RED kept his record perfect winning the 4 1/2f Copper Top Futury by 3 1/2 lengths drawing away. He won his Trial at Sunland on March 18 and races for his breeders Brad King & Dale Taylor. In the filly division DIABOLICAL DAME advanced seven wide into the second turn and was gaining late to take second place, her division was run in :51.56.

Six stakes performances for runners by A & A Stallions over two week span.
The $85,000 Mt. Cristo Rey H. run on March 8 saw THERMAL by ATTILA'S STORM notch his sixth career stakes performance. Saving ground through the turn of the 4 1/2f test THERMAL angled
out in mid-stretch and finished with good energy. He returned March 29
to win an allowance optional. Career stats for the 4-year-old multiple
stakes winner stand at $288,595 from 18 starts 6 wins, 4 seconds and 2
thirds.

race at Sunland yesterday. The final time of the 4 1/2f starter
optional was :51.03. For his win ATTILA'S PARTING earned a 72 Beyer, the
highest for all New Mexico-Breds 3/17-3/23, ATTILA'S HURRICANE earned a
70 Beyer for his runner up performance. ATTILA'S STORM stands at A&A Stallions for $3,000 in 2014.

DIABOLICAL's Mays Or Mantle who endured some bumping with
the winner in the stretch. Three lengths back in third was STORM COUNTRY,
by ATTILA'S STORM, a Ruidoso trial winner on July 13. The winner
races for his breeders Brad King & Dale Taylor. This was the second futurity
win for the son of ROLL HENNESSY ROLL, ROLL OUT THE BAND won the

Following up on fellow A&A stallion DIABOLICAL's record setting
performance in 2013, SOUTHWESTERN HEAT still holds the title of North
America's leading freshman sire of 2014 after five weeks of racing.
After Saturday's juvenile race at Keeneland, he has dropped to #2 on the
list of all leading juvenile sires for the year, now second to KY
stallion Sky Mesa. Both are stellar rankings for the young so of Gone
West out of the champion mare Xtra Heat.

A&A Sired Runners Shine Bright in New Mexico Cup Day Races

A total of 14 runners by A&A sires won or
placed in 10 the 12 races run at Zia Park for a total of $2-Million in
purses, making it the richest state-bred day of racing in the country. Six stakes were won by progeny sired at A&A. MR. WIZARD by PREMEDITATION took
home the biggest check after getting up for the head victory in the
$180,000 Rocky Gulch NM Classic Cup Championship. In the money 9 out of
10 starts this year, MR. WIZARD's final time for the mile was 1:36 3/5, just 2/5ths off the track record. ON DOWN THE ROAD by pensioned A&A sire DESERT GOD was third.

A&A LEADS ALL CONSIGNORS AT RUIDOSO

Fred & Linda Alexander's A&A Ranch led all consignors at the
recently completed two day sale, by gross with $352,900 in receipts for
36 sold. This is the second consecutive year the New Mexico breeder has
led this sale.

KISS MY HENNESSY engaged in a duel with the winner
until the stretch of the 5 1/2f Road Runner S. Last out in March at SunRay, the
daughter of ROLL HENNESSY ROLL duplicated that performance today holding
the place spot by 1 ¾ lengths over Worry This. Four races later in the Sierra
Blanca H. HUSH'S STORM went five wide to rally late and gained the
show spot, missing second by a neck. His sire ATTILA'S STORM was
represented by one stakes winner and three placed on the card for the $1.25
million New Mexico-Breds Zia Festival program at Ruidoso.

HENNESEY SMASH TAKES THE BOLD EGO HANDICAP

HENNESEY SMASH rolled to five consecutive wins here, adding to her
victories in Albuquerque's Chief Narbona S. Aug. 26, a Zia allowance
Oct. 2, the New Mexico Classic Cup Championship Filly S. Oct. 28 and
another Zia allowance Dec. 3. The homebred chased the pace from the
three path in this one, challenged on the bend and cleared in the
straight.
